Praised in 1987 for its exceptional audio quality by worldwide audio enthusiasts and celebrated for its unique design by the New York Museum of Modern Art.
The Goldmund Apologue – designed by the italian artist Claudio Rotta Loria – stands forever as a major milestone in Goldmund history.
The Apologue by Pinel et Pinel x Kongo loudspeaker has an identical design to the first Apologue but with all the technological progress made by the company during those past 36 years.
While retaining the absolute active version, enriched with digital technologies, this limited edition is dressed in an exceptional leather sheath crafted by the Parisian atelier Pinel et Pinel and hand-painted by urban artist Cyril Kongo. Empowering imagination and fantasy, this new edition stands out as a truly exceptional piece, a masterpiece.
THE VERY LAST 2024 APOLOGUE EDITION
6-channel Integrated Amplifier and Wireless speakers
The 1987 edition of the Apologue was a 3-way passive speaker. The Apologue by Pinel et Pinel x Kongo has evolved into a 6-way active speaker with a built-in 6-channel amplification system, totaling 5200W for a pair.
Using the latest Goldmund DSP technology, the Apologue Anniversary was 100% corrected both in amplitude and phase, providing for the first time a « perfect response » from a pair of speakers. In addition to extreme audio accuracy, the latest time response correction developed by Goldmund provided an incredible, more natural response with much lower listening fatigue when used at a high level.
The signal feeding the Apologue can be sent wirelessly, allowing the two speakers of a stereo system to be presented without any cables, except for an AC plug that can be installed below each speaker.

Kongo first became known as a graffiti artist on the international scene. After thirty years of practice, he evolved his art to take graffiti into new spheres. A visionary artist, Kongo knows how to merge urban art with prestigious craftsmanship.
He has thus been able to reinvent the iconic silk scarf from the House of Hermès. He also revolutionised the world of watchmaking by working on an audacious project alongside Richard Mille. The aim of these work projects is to elevate its urban culture and modernise the image of our heritage. This is why he has chosen to only work in an environment of excellence and passion.

In the early 2000s, PINEL ET PINEL played a crucial role in revitalizing the interest in leather-covered travel trunks, transforming them into extraordinary pieces of home furniture. Renowned among connoisseurs, the luxury House is highly respected for its top-notch quality and custom-made designs.
The customization
Transformation of a design object into a work of art.
Each speaker has been conceived as a unique piece, entirely adorned by the skilled hands of the craftsmen and leatherworkers of the Parisian Maison Pinel et Pinel.
The finest calf leathers have been chosen for these creations. Every piece is carefully selected, controlled, and precision-cut. The tops of the 5 units will be covered with Pinel et Pinel's iconic coated canvas. The other faces will be adorned with the Maison's most beautiful white calf leather.
A large piece of calf leather wraps around the bottom and both sides. Another piece of leather covers the back. The entire assembly is hand-assembled, glued, and sewn.
Once the leather pieces are prepared and laid flat according to their assembly plan, artist Cyril Kongo creates his artwork with spray paint and markers, inspired by the unique atmosphere of Pinel et Pinel's workshops and the powerful character of the speakers.
After drying, the leather pieces are carefully positioned, trimmed, and joined together by a hand saddle-stitch.
Hand stitching, the nature of the leather, and Cyril Kongo's original designs are all elements that make each speaker a unique collector's piece.
